Fairy door taken over by raver Goblins

Hobbit door close up

a close-up so you can see the door handle...

an explanation

I just realised that I haven't explained to people the idea behind the doorway 'boxes'. Steve's idea is to actually insert the door into our wall. That way, all you'll see from the outside is a door, but when you open it you'll see the world inside....

I think he is busy right now on a 'Goblin door'. I think it's a fairy door that has been taken over by a Goblin.

A slightly fancier doorstep, distressed paint effect, complete with Oregan wood banister, skirting board and dado rail. Also a close-up of the hand-crafted brass door handle. The only parts Steve buys are the hinges.

.... the latrine gets a bog roll and a newspaper for those slightly longer sessions.

A beginning

I have started this blog for my partner Steve, as a way to share his talent with the world. We would welcome your feedback and ideas on his various creations.... It is my hope that he will 'go pro' one day and make his creations available to those wishing to purchase them, in the meantime, enjoy the photos. We hope they trigger your own imaginations....
